DR. JULIE CARON

Orthodontist

Dr. Caron graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at Laval University in 2000. She practiced for a year as a general dentist in Sept-Îles, on Native American reserves in Northern Quebec and in Schefferville. Subsequently, in 2004, she completed a specialty in orthodontics as well as a master's degree in dental sciences at the University of Montreal. She has practices orthodontics at the Centre Dentaire Anjou since the beginning of her career in 2004. In 2008, she became co-owner of the clinic and in 2022 sole owner. Her kindness, her human nature and her integrity are reflected in all her practice. Her experience allows her to effectively treat patients of all ages ranging from simple treatments in young children such as widening the palate; through treatments with Invisalign braces and clear aligners; ending with ortho-surgical treatments carried out in team with maxillofacial surgeons to treat facial deformities and cases of sleep apnea. Thousands of people have placed their trust in Dr. Caron and her team for their demonstrated skills. This wonderful bond between all the members of the team will make your experience most enjoyable.

DR. Ali Karkri

Orthodontist

Dr. Karkri obtained his doctorate in dentistry as well as his master's degree in oral sciences from the University of Montreal in 2021. He then headed to the United States to complete a specialty in orthodontics in Pittsburgh before returning to his hometown in Montreal. Having been a soccer instructor for more than ten years, allowing him to interact with children, adolescents and adults of all ages and from all backgrounds, he was able to develop ease and the ability to adapt with people. His passion for technology and his knowledge of classic techniques allows him to offer you the full range of orthodontic services from braces to Invisalign plastic aligners.

Dr. Nancy Boisvert

DR. NANCY BOISVERT

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon

Dr. Boisvert obtained her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from McGill University in 2003. She continued on to complete a multidisciplinary residency program at Laval University. In 2009 she obtained her specialty degree in maxillofacial surgery as well as a Master of Dental Sciences in tissue engineering at the laboratory LOEX (laboratoire d’organogénèse expérimentale) affiliated with Laval University in Quebec.

Following the reception of these two degrees, she obtained the title of Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. She is an active member of both the Quebec Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon Association as well as the Canadian Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon Association.

In 2009, Dr. Boisvert began practicing at Centre Dentaire Anjou. At the same time, she started the department of oral and maxillofacial surgery at Hôtel-Dieu Hospital in Sorel-Tracy. A native of the region, she also performs minor surgery in a private clinic in the area. Dr. Boisvert’s humanistic approach to her patients both comforts and reassures them during the specialized surgical procedures that she carries out. Dr. Boisvert also has the expertise in conscious sedation for those patients who require it.

DR JEAN POIRIER

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon

Dr Jean Poirier obtained his dental degree from the University of Montreal in 1984. He then practiced with the Canadian Armed Forces, most notably with the United Nations in Cyprus, before going into private practice. In 1995 he graduated from Laval University as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and at the same time he obtained the title of Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He then pursued an additional year of training in maxillofacial reconstruction in Montreal, Miami, New York and Toronto. He has been on the executive of the Quebec Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon Association since 1999 and was president from 2013 to 2016. He was also on the executive of the Canadian Dental Association from 2008 to 2012.

Dr. Poirier has been in clinical practice as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon at Centre Dentaire Anjou since 2005 and also holds a position at the Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital. He is assistant professor in oral and maxillofacial surgery in the surgical department, ENT division of the faculty of Medicine of University of Montreal. In order to maintain a high standard of excellence and offer the best possible treatments to his patients Dr. Poirier keeps himself updated on the latest developments of his profession. He sits on numerous committees of experts for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is often solicited to give conferences or to act as an expert for the professional liability insurance fund of the Order of Dentists of Quebec. Currently, Dr. Poirier serves as vice-president of the Federation of Dental Specialists of Quebec.

Dr Oualid Badri

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon

Dr Badri holds a Doctorate in dentistry from Laval University obtained in 2013, subsequently he continued his studies by completing a multidisciplinary residency at the Montreal University Hospital Center as well as at the Sainte-Justine Children's Hospital Center. After completing his specialized training in oral and maxillofacial surgery in 2020 at the Quebec University Hospital Center, he completed his master's degree in dental science with a dissertation focused on temporomandibular disorders. He then completed a first year of fellowship in reconstruction of the temporomandibular joint with Dr. Jean Poirier at the Montreal University Hospital Center. He also completed a second year of fellowship in the treatment of temporomandibular disorders using a closed (arthroscopy) and open approach mainly alongside Dr. Clayton Davis in Edmonton (University of Alberta), but also via a rotation with Dr. McCain at MGH. (Harvard University). Dr. Badri is a professor in the department of ENT and maxillofacial surgery associated with the faculty of medicine of the University of Montreal. Finally, he is also a lecturer in the department of orthodontics at the faculty of dentistry of the University of Montreal.

DR. MELANIE CAMPESE

Periodontist

Dr. Melanie Campese received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Montreal in 2006 with high honors. In 2010 she completed a three-year full time post-doctoral periodontology specialty program at the Boston University School of Dental Medicine in the United States. This program included a one-year research project that lead to a master thesis in oral biology and periodontology and it was then followed by a two-year intensive course in periodontics and implant dentistry. Since her return to Montreal in 2010, Dr. Campese has not only maintained a private periodontal practice but she is also a part time clinical teacher at the undergraduate dental student level at both McGill University and at the University of Montreal.

DR. JANE LIEBERMAN

Endodontist

Dr. Lieberman obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry in 2015. She graduated with honors in Endodontics. She then, spent an additional 2 years of specializing at New York University College of Dentistry in Endodontics. There she had the opportunity to train along side some of the pioneers in the field and completed her training in 2017. Dr. Lieberman practiced in New York in private practice before returning to her roots in Montreal and joining the Anjou Dental Practice.

Dr. Lieberman is a specialist in saving teeth.

DR. GILBERT THELLEND-GAUTHIER

Endodontist

Dr. Gauthier obtained his doctorate in dentistry from the University of Montreal in 2014. He then completed a multidisciplinary residency from McGill University at the Jewish General Hospital in 2015. He practised general dentistry for several years at the Center Dentaire Anjou. Then, in 2022 he completed a specialty in endodontics with a master's degree in dental sciences. In addition to practising endodontics in private practice, he regularly goes to Cree communities on the shores of James Bay to provide endodontic care as a member of the Cree Health Board.

Dr. Jasmine Thao Nguyen

Pediatric Dentist

Having graduated from the University of Montreal with a doctorate in dental medicine in 2017, Dr. Jasmine Thao Nguyen entered the multidisciplinary residency program at McGill University at the Montreal Children's Hospital. The following summer, she participated in the clinical training of undergraduate students at McGill University in pediatric dentistry. Her interest in working with children quickly led her to return to studies to complete her D.E.S. and her master's degree in pediatric dentistry at the University of Montreal. Today, Dr. Jasmine Thao Nguyen offers pediatric dental care in private practice and under general anesthesia.

DR. JOSÉE BELLEFLEUR

Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Bellefleur graduated from University de Montreal in 1992 with a Doctorate in Dental Medicine and in 1994 with a Masters in Pediatric Dentistry. Between 1992 and 1994, she continued her studies in Pediatric Dentistry as a resident at Ste-Justine’s Hospital. Since 1994 she has been practicing at the Pierrefonds Children’s Dental Centre and treating children under general anesthesia at Centre Dentaire Anjou. She is very experienced and over the years she has treated more than 2000 children under general anesthesia.

Dr Daniel Bergeron

Pediatric Dentist

As a graduate with a doctorate in dentistry from the University of Montreal in 1993, Dr. Bergeron worked in northern Quebec in the Cree native communities of James Bay for 17 years. He then returned to school in 2010 to specialize in pediatric dentistry. During his four years of residency at CHU Sainte-Justine, he acquired particular expertise in children's oral development, the management of patients with special needs, oral trauma, as well as complex pediatric rehabilitation. Dr. Bergeron then completed his clinical training in pediatric dentistry in July 2015; and in that same year he passed the exams of the Royal College of Dentists as a specialist. In 2017, he also completed his master's degree in pediatric dentistry at the University of Montreal. After several years in private practice, Dr. Bergeron now devotes his practice to pediatric dental care in general anesthesia only, since 2019.

Dr Étienne Caron

Dr. Caron obtained his doctorate in dentistry from the University of Montreal in 2012. He then did a general residency at Strong Memorial Hospital, in Rochester, NY, in 2013. Upon his return, he completed a D.E.S. and a master's degree in pediatric dentistry at the University of Montreal and the CHU Sainte-Justine in 2016. Dr. Caron practices pediatric dentistry in Montreal and Saint-Jérôme. His human and jovial approach is appreciated by his little patients as well as their parents!

She then begun to spread her passion for pediatric dentistry. She holds a teaching position at the faculty of dentistry and gives conferences both locally and worldwide. Dr. Tremblay obtained his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Montreal in 1992. Dr. Tremblay joined the team at Centre Dentaire Anjou in 1994 as a general dentist. Dr. Tremblay is very well liked and appreciated by his patients for his professionalism, attention to detail and his gentleness.

Dr. Melinda Madagh

Dr. Hala Abiad

Dr. Abiad graduated in Dentistry from the University of Montreal in 2023. She went on to complete a multidisciplinary residency at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health at the University of Rochester in the United States, where she refined her skills, particularly in cosmetic dentistry, surgery, and root canal treatments.

Dr. Louis Fauteux-Loiselle

Dr. Fauteux earned his doctorate in dental medicine from the Université de Montréal in 2025. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience, obtained from the same university in 2020. Throughout his academic and professional journey, he has developed a caring and attentive approach, always placing the needs of his patients at the center of his practice. DR. COLETTE LEB

Dr Leb graduated from the dental faculty of McGill University in 1989 with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery. She then completed a multidisciplinary residency program at the Jewish General Hospital. She shared her knowledge and expertise by serving as faculty lecturer at McGill University for 17 years. Her love of children led her to join the pediatric department at Centre Dentaire Anjou, where since 1990 she has been providing dental health care for young patients. She is known for providing positive dental experiences for children of all ages. Her gentle and caring approach combined with her vast experience have earned the appreciation by her colleagues and patients alike.

Dr. Jasmine Lagacé

Dr. Lagacé completed her doctorate of dentistry in 2021 at the University of Montreal. Passionate about childcare, it is at Center Dentaire Anjou that she began her professional career in the children's department because she has always been very benevolent toward them. Dr. Thanh Ly

Dr. Ly obtained her doctorate in dentistry from the University of Montreal in 2011. When she was very young, she was a patient at Center Dentaire Anjou! The values ​​and approach of the pediatric department at Center Dentaire Anjou gave her the inspiration and desire to become a children's dentist herself. In return, she wants to pass on this beautiful, pleasant experience to the little ones. This great passion feeds her vocation for a dental practice centered with children. Dr. Marie-Josée Roy

Dr. Roy obtained a bachelor's degree in nutrition in 2000 and a master's degree in nutrition in 2004. At the same time, she began a doctorate in dentistry at the University of Montreal, which she completed in 2007. Since obtaining her diploma she has a practice primarily focused on children's dental care. In addition to her practice, she teaches future dentists, future dental hygienists and future dental assistants. Dr. Aubri Marchand

Dr. Marchand graduated from McGill University in 2006 with a Doctorate of Dental Medicine, an award for academic excellence and a leadership award from the Association of Quebec Dental Surgeons. After completing a residency at the Montreal Children’s Hospital in 2007, she realized her passion for working with children. She mentored dental students as an associate professor at McGill University and spent ten years working as a staff member at the Montreal Children’s Hospital. Dr. Marchand now maintains a private practice limited to pediatric dentistry, including treatment under general anesthesia. She is committed to providing compassionate dental care for your children. Her goal is for each child to leave their appointment with confidence and a sense of accomplishment.

Mélissa Dalpé

Denturologist

Ms. Dalpé graduated in denturology in 2019 from Édouard-Montpetit college. Wishing to reach the highest level of her expertise, in 2023 she obtained an AEC diploma focused on prostheses on dental implants. Her field of practice focuses on removable prostheses, partial dentures as well as prostheses on implants. Passionate about denturology, her mission is to offer the most personalized service. At the first appointment, you will be listened to in order to target the treatment plan that better suits you. She welcomes your questions about dentures. Particular attention will be paid to the making of your dental prosthesis, to the design of your smile and to your opinions. She stands out for her human approach as well as her empathy.

Ms. Dalpé is also a patient at the Centre Dentaire Anjou where she receives multidisciplinary care for the design of her own smile; she joines as a denturologist in 2024.

Mélanie Albert, A.D.

Nurse

A registered nurse since December 2019, Léolènesy began her career in cardiac surgery at the Montreal Heart Institute, where she also works as an acting assistant head nurse. Calm, cheerful, and reassuring, she joined Centre Dentaire Anjou in 2024 as a guest nurse, specializing in the administration of intravenous sedation during complex surgical procedures. Her positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and gentle, empathetic approach make her a valuable asset in helping even the most anxious patients feel at ease and well cared for.

Yva Khalil, MBA, R.D.H.

Executive Director

Yva graduated as a dental hygienist from the Collège de Maisonneuve in Montreal since 1999. Over the years, she has completed numerous continuing education sessions in the treatment of periodontal and neuromuscular diseases, in implant dentistry, in cosmetic dentistry, in psychology and in communication. Speaker for various organizations and professional orders as well as internationally with the ICOI-ADIA, the latter awards her with the status of "Fellow" in 2012. Highly organized oral health professional, published author and recipient of the “Racine” award in 2014 by the Order of Dental Hygienists of Quebec, she joined Centre Dentaire Anjou in 2017 as Executive Director. In 2019, she completed an executive MBA from the University of Quebec in Montreal.

    Prenez note que pour le congé des Fêtes, la clinique sera fermée du 23 décembre au 7 janvier, inclusivement. Nous serons de retour le 8 janvier avec notre horaire habituel.
