The treatment is fully planned using 3D impressions of the patient's dentition and a computer program. The aligners are designed in the laboratory and are worn for a predetermined period of approximately 10 days. Subsequently, they are replaced by new aligners, which are designed according to the dental movements already observed in the teeth.<\/p><p>The aligners are worn all day, as well as during the night. However, the patient must remove them to eat and to perform their oral hygiene routine. The Invisalign technique therefore causes progressive tooth movements until the expected result is obtained. Each aligner will be used to move teeth to the ideal location. Aligners are changed every 14 days and worn at all times, except when removed for meals.\nThese aligners are usually very well tolerated by the patient.<\/p>\nOral hygiene care is facilitated as the aligners are removable for brushing and flossing.
