Then, we will give him a basket to let him choose a surprise. Meanvhile, you will meet the anesthetist that will put your child to sleep. He will ask you somw questions on your child\u2019s health and will examine him. At this step, your role is to distract your child. The anesthetist will take your child\u2019s right hand while you will hold his left hand. The anesthetist will then do a small injection on his hand.<\/p><p class=\"pb-15\">Don\u2019t be surprised he will fall asleep very quickly. When your child will be asleep, we will ask you to retourn in the waiting room for the rest of the surgery. It\u2019s possible for you to go out to eat or drink something. Food is not allowed in the waiting room because there is children on an fasting. However, it\u2019s importante to wait for the dentist to come and meet you before you leave. When the dental treatment will be over, the dentist will come see you to explain how treatments went. Your child have to stay with the anesthetist for a moment. If you don\u2019t have one, we will borrow you one whit pleasure.<\/p><\/li><li><p class=\"semibold bleu\">Agitation and confusion :<\/p><p>The medication that is used to put your child asleep can cause agitation and confusion. When your child will wake up, he can start to cry and whine, but it\u2019s completely normal and it\u2019s not necessarily related to pain. He can do sudden movements, soi t will be important to wath him carefully, because your child can accidentally knock his head on the side of the stretcher. This behavior will disappear when your child will be completely wake up. It will be important to comfort your child and keep him in the blanket.<\/p><p class=\"semibold bleu\">&nbsp;<\/p><\/li><li><p class=\"semibold bleu\">Sore throat and bleeding :<\/p>Following the anesthesia, your child can cough a little bit and have hoarse voice, but i twill disappear after 2 or 3 hours.
